Imagine a compass for safe use by children

MY ROLE

The device has two adjustable parts that rotates relative to each other around an axis of rotation. Each adjustable part comprises of a transverse fixture that receives an instrument of writing or marking. The transverse fixture is tilted to a non-zero angle compared to a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the two parts.
